You Shall Be Free

#2.   You Must Be Committed To Living Your Life Free From Sin In Obedience To God.
        "... Now you are free from the power of sin and have become servants of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life."
          Romans 6:22

#3.   Know That God Is Always Watching You.
        "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good."
          Proverbs 15:3

"The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him..."
2 Chronicles 16:9

#4.   Know That All Temptations Are Common And God Will Help You Overcome Them.
        "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."
          1 Corinthians 10:13

#5.   Memorize What The Holy Bible Says About Freedom From The Sins That Tempt You.
        "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You."
          Psalms 119:11

#6.   Bring Every Thought In Line With The Truth of God's Word.
          "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
          2 Corinthians 10:4-5

#7.   ; Know That The Truth of Jesus Can & Will Set You Free, As You Seek Him.
        "... You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

"For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith."

#8.   Resist Temptation And The Enemy of Your Soul With Every Resource God Has Given You.
          "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
          James 4:7

#9.   Draw Near To God With Worship, Praise and Prayer!
          "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
          James 4:8

#10.   Walk In The Spirit And You Will Not Fulfill The Works of The Flesh.
          Galatians 5:16

"And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever..." ~ Matthew 6:13

"Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14

Christians must seek to be free from all sinful, ungodly habits! Until we are free from ungodly habits it is impossible for us to be and do what our Heavenly Father wants us to be and do. Also, the more ungodly habits that Christians have in their lives, the harder it is for us to be the witness God wants us to be, to people who haven't accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior yet.

Jesus wants to free us from all sinful habits! The power to be free from sin is found in the depths of a relationship with God through the Son, Jesus Christ with the assistance of the Holy Spirit! Jesus said the greatest command is Deuteronomy 6:5, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength.". This is the place were every Christian needs to begin each day to find the power to live free from sinful habits!

What habits does Jesus want to free us from? All of them! Just to name a few things that God wants us to be free from:

Hatred, Anger, Killing (Murder)...
Sexual Lust, [10 Ways to Fight Pornography] Viewing Sexual Images, Fornication, Adultery, Sodomy...
Coveting Other Belongings,Robbery, Theft, Stealing...
Lying, Cheating, Cursing, Unproductive Words...
Drugs, Alcohol, Smoking, Chewing Tobacco...
Cutting Ones Skin, Tattoos, Piercings...
Impatience, Worrying, Complaining...
Keeping Ungodly Thoughts or Desires...
