Christians must seek to be free from all sinful, ungodly habits! Until we are free from ungodly habits it is impossible for us to be and do what our Heavenly Father wants us to be and do. Also, the more ungodly habits that Christians have in their lives, the harder it is for us to be the witness God wants us to be, to people who haven't accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior yet.
Jesus wants to free us from all sinful habits! The power to be free from sin is found in the depths of a relationship with God through the Son, Jesus Christ with the assistance of the Holy Spirit! Jesus said the greatest command is Deuteronomy 6:5, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength.". This is the place were every Christian needs to begin each day to find the power to live free from sinful habits!
What habits does Jesus want to free us from? All of them! Just to name a few things that God wants us to be free from:
Hatred, Anger, Killing (Murder)...

Coveting Other Belongings,Robbery, Theft, Stealing...
