Jesus and the Holy Bible tell us there's only one way to Heaven!
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
Good works cannot save you.
"God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Trust Jesus Christ today! ~ Here's what you must do:
# 1. Realize that you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)
"If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts." (1 John 1:10)
#2. Be willing to turn from your sins and ask God for forgiveness.
[God will set you free from your sins, as you love and seek Him with your whole being: spirit, mind and strength.]
Jesus said: "I tell you... except you repent, you shall all perish too." (Luke 13:5)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
# 3. Believe that God's Son, Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead.
"For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." (Romans 5:8)
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
# 4. Pray and invite Jesus into your life to be your personal Lord and Savior.
Behold, I [Jesus] stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20)
* Note: All Born Again Christians should follow Jesus Christ in water baptism and seek to be discipled by other godly, Christian leaders.

"... Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new creation. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" (II Corinthians 5:17)

Why is it important to be Born Again?
Jesus said, "... Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.", John 3:3
Nicodemus, in John 3:4, seem confused if he must have a second physical birth experience.
Jesus explains in John 3:5-6, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."
Clearly, Jesus is speaking about two difference experiences, one physical birth ("born of water" or "the flesh") and a second spiritual birth. In physical birth, two physical elements come together to create a new life. In spiritual birth, two spiritual elements come together to create a new life. The elements that come together in spiritual birth are the spirit of a person and the Spirit of God. When the Spirit of God enters a person's spirit, a new life begins and the person is born again.
Just as a new physical life should only be created with the will and consent of two parties, spiritual life can only be created with the will and consent of the person being born again and God.
