There are 5 ways to know God and His Word better.
All Christians should be taught to engage in these activities daily, or at least one each week.
#1. Hear The Word of God
"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Romans 10:17
#2. Read The Word of God
"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near." Revelation 1:3
#3. Study The Word of God
"Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15
#4. Memorize The Word of God
"Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." Psalms 119:11
#5. Meditate On The Word of God
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." Joshua 1:8
"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night." Psalms1:1-2
"My eyes are awake through the night watches,
That I may meditate on Your word." Psalms119:148
"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate on these things." Philippians 4:8
