The Simple Words Bible TM is being written to share the meaning of the Bible in words that are easy to understand. This paraphrase was inspired by a few talks between two teenage girls. One girl from America was working to explain the New Living Translation of the Bible to a "foreign exchange student" from another country. The New Living Translation of the Bible is a translation that is easy for most Americans to understand, yet the Simple Words Bible TM has a goal of being even easier to understand for everyone, including people whose first language is not English.
